Top 5 best places to watch the fireworks in Brooklyn

the 4th of July is a huge celebration for the US and everyone is always ballin out in American flag tees, shorts and tanks! Here are some of the top 5 best places to watch the fireworks in New York and New Jersey. 

1. The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks

Macy's will be forever known as the staple for brain storming some of the best events this side of the Lincoln Tunnel. Macy's always has their display on the East River starting at 9:25 PM no matter where you are you can always find a great spot to stand or sit.

2. Berry Park in Green Point, Brooklyn 

Berry Park does not have their own firework display but they host one hell of a party for the 4th of July. Enjoy this spot sipping one of their classic alcoholic slushies and indulge on their BBQ on the roof top. You can watch the fireworks from the roof top might be a little tough to see the Macy's fireworks display but who knows maybe a surprise firework display will appear!

3. Brooklyn Grange

If you want a different type of scene or love to try new foods head over to the Brooklyn Grange! This rooftop has BBQ food but offers a variety of cultural food. This will be followed up by a close up view of the Macy's 4th of July fireworks display. You can dance all night under the colorful sky and remember live it up, drink it down.

4. Brooklyn Barge 

Enjoy a waterfront side boat bar in Greenpoint where you can see the Macy's fireworks up close to get spectacular view and great pictures. They even have an annual lobster boil which sounds pretty good if you love seafood. 

Finally if you want to try something completely different across the river head over to New Jersey. 

5. Surf City

If you can't make it to the East River for the Macy's fireworks no worries if you post up at Surf City in Jersey City, NJ you will be right on the water and can over look the Hudson and gaze at a display going on near Liberty State Park. Right near the park is the Statue of Liberty imagine how great it would be to watch fireworks near this great landmark.
