At Brooklyn Cloth, we love programs that allow any person to go above and beyond their own expectations of success. RECESS is a movement that helps to shape the future of today’s youth. A combination of serious work and play, RECESS Music and Ideas Festival inspires students to take action in promoting our future.
The Pitch portion of RECESS is “both a platform and a spotlight where concepts are discovered and innovation truly thrives. It offers unprecedented access to resources, and presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make the leap from the dorm room to the boardroom. The winner of the RECESS Pitch competition gets an automatic bid into the Capital Championship’s finals for a shot at winning a $250,000 cash prize.”
Going on a six city tour, RECESS was able to snag some fresh artists who also resonate with the RECESS mentality of starting from the bottom and taking an idea to the next level! Performances from Lil’ Dicky, GoldLink, Tory Lanez, Amtrac, BJ the Chicago Kid, Giraffage, Gryffin, and SNBRN are free to anyone who RSVP’s to the Pitch Events.
