Fashion with Compassion X Brooklyn Cloth

Brooklyn Cloth donated some amazing merchandise to Fashion with Compassion.

The national organization was founded in 2008 by two sophomores who wanted to raise funds for charity. Fashion with Compassion empowers its members to believe in themselves – and to take responsibility for serving as agents of change. With their classmates, they planned, promoted, and staged the school’s annual student-run charity fashion show.  Fashion With Compassion.

The fashion show was  March 17, 2019, at Jewish Community High School in San Francisco.

This year, IsraAID was their charity of choice. IsraAID is a leading humanitarian non-governmental organization, committed to providing life-saving emergency relief and durable solutions for populations affected by natural disasters, epidemics, and post-conflict situations. Since its inception in 2001, IsraAID has become synonymous with a rapid response to humanitarian crises. Its medical teams,  rescue units, post-trauma experts, community specialists, and other professionals have led international responses in natural disasters and civil strife around the world. After the initial emergency period, IsraAID shifts to long-term programs, all to accompany communities and governments as they strive to build a better tomorrow. As of 2018, IsraAID has responded to crises in 46 countries including Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the Sonoma and Napa fires in California and has ongoing programs in 17 countries.
