Raise your hand if you still see neon as a big trend on the ‘Gram, when shopping online, or even with your friends? We at Brooklyn Cloth are loving neon right now. So, we’re going to share with you how to wear neon this spring.
First Off, What Are Neon Colors?
Neon colors are bright colors that glow with intensity. Neon green and neon yellow were the colors that started the neon trend. Now, others such as neon pink and neon sherbet orange are taking a share of the trend.
It started with sneakers, including the Nike Air Force 1 Low Off White. It was the “must-have sneaker” and now sells for $1,500 or more. This sneaker came out in 2018 when Virgil Abloh and Swoosh did a collab. It remains one of the most memorable sneakers to date.
But should you even attempt to wear neon clothing? Our answer; YES! Why wouldn’t you want to stand out, even for a little while, and honestly the colors are so fun.
For this spring, we are excited to introduce our neon pink hoodie, and this one can be worn all week along — not just on Wednesdays, even if “On Wednesday, we wear pink.” Okay, we’re getting off-topic. Details about this pullover hoodie include screen prints all over. On the front chest, it says Dreams??? with smiley faces. Dreams don’t cost anything, but if we were going to charge for sharing dreams, let’s make them 99 cents, which is printed down the sleeves. On the back, there is a screen print of Dreams 99 cents and “nothing really matters.” Give yourself some cool street wear-inspired vibes while rocking this dope hoodie for the start of the spring season.
If you’re going to wear a neon top, one suggestion is to keep everything else a little more subdued. We’d wear our neon pink hoodie with some casual light wash knit joggers or loose wide-leg jeans.
Mixing and matching is okay when wearing neon colors. Our neon green hoodie is the same design as the pink. This hoodie goes well with dark knit joggers, shorts, or your favorite denim pants. When wearing neon clothing, keep other pieces basic, so the look doesn’t feel forced. You want the hoodie to stand out most when you’re walking the streets, so people can say, “Hey bro, where did you get that dope hoodie?” and the response will be Brooklyn Cloth.
If you can’t commit and go full neon, we got you covered. Our new spring graphic tees are a great way to be part of the trend without going full-blown neon. We’ve used a pop of light neon colors in our graphics for a feel-good spring vibe. All of our new long sleeve graphic tees for men come with fun sayings all over them with dope graphics. A few of our favorites are below.
The black neon good vibes long sleeve tee is a comfy jersey knit material tee. It has bold graphics of Good Vibes only on the front chest and the back, with a cool black and white checkered panel on the sleeves. The neon coloring really pops on the black tee, and they look great with a pair of khaki twill jogger pants, white knit shorts for added pop, or your favorite denim jeans. Keeping it basic with neon and bold prints on the bottom lets the tee speak for itself, plus looks dope when you take a selfie for the ‘Gram. If you don’t like the black, we also have it available in white!
Another one that we love for spring and keeping it in the neon fam is our stay wild dusty green long sleeve graphic tee. If this tee doesn’t get you in the wild mood for spring fever, then we don’t know what will. We can’t get over the fact that spring is coming up soon, plus wearing this long sleeve jersey knit tee shirt will make your whole outfit for the day pop! Why not step out with this as your statement piece and just add some layering pieces like a distressed denim trucker jacket, your favorite denim jeans, and Air Force Ones.
