Summit Arts was event during the festival to gather support for a more comprehensive Arts initiative within the Summit community. Summit Arts is about building community through creative practice and artistic experimentation. The mission of Summit Arts is to educate future generations through collaboration, provide support for emerging artists, and foster interdisciplinary dialogue with leading scientists around pressing global issues.
The event on the rooftop of the Intercontinental Hotel in down LA included performances by Lil Buck (@lilbuckdalegend)& Jon Boogz (@jonboogz) as well as a talk by international artist Janet Eshelman about relationships between science and art.
Many prominent members of the Summit community were in attendance, including art-world celebrities such as Jeffery Dietch of Dietch Projects in New York.
